Answer:

The mean is 26.2

The median is 27

The mode is 32

The range is 38

Explanation:

The mean is the average, to get it, add all of your values and divide the sum by the number of addends

The median is the middle number of the data set when order from least to greatest

The mode is the most occurred number

The range is the difference between the greatest number and the smallest number

The data:

9, 11, 12, 12, 14, 17, 25, 25, 27, 32, 32, 32, 33, 35, 41, 42, 47

∵ Their sum = 446

∵ They are 17 numbers

∵ Mean = sum ÷ number of data

∴ Mean = 446 ÷ 17 ≅ 26.2

The mean is 26.2

∵ The mean is the middle number of the data

∵ The middle of 17 numbers is the 9th one (
(17+1)/(2) )

∵ The 9th one is 27

∴ Median = 27

The median is 27

∵ The mode is the most repeated number

∵ 32 is repeated three times (12 and 25 repeated twice only)

∴ Mode = 32

The mode is 32

∵ Range = greatest number - smallest number

∵ The greatest number is 47

∵ The smallest number is 9

∴ Range = 47 - 9 = 38

The range is 38
