The sea, can hold this warmth after the sun sets and not lose it easily. This makes the low surface pressure to move over the sea during the night and the high surface strain to move over the land. This causes a little temperature difference between the sea surface and the close by land around evening time and the breeze will blow from the land to the sea making the land breeze.
