Nitrogylcerin tablets are usually used for the prevention and mitigating the chest pain or Angina pectoris due to complications from coronary diseases. The tablets should be, placed under the tongue; and allow to dissolve without spiting, swallowing or drinking any fluid. The tablets are 3 in number,and should be taken at 5-minutes intervals to suppress the pain.if after the 15 minutes completion of the 3 tablets dosage the pain still persists, emergency care team should be contacted e.g 911.
