For a question like this you need to find the surface area
The formula is :
b x w x h (base x width x height)

So you multiply 3 1/2 x 6 x 5 1/2 = 22.5

Answer:

146.5

Explanation:

This figure has 6 sides. The amount of fabric needed is an area of each one of the 6 sides.

Formula

Front and back

Front: base * height

Left and Right Sides

Left side: bottom * height

Top and Bottom

Top: bottom * base

Solution

Front and Back

Front: 3.5 * 5.5 19.25

Left and right

6 * 5.5 33.0

Top and bottom

Top

6*3.5 21

Subtotal 73.25 square cm.

But I have calculated on 3 faces of the brick. To get the total, you need to multiply by 2. That gets you the other 3 places

Answer: 2*73.25 = 146.5
