Under typical​ conditions, 0.5 feet of snow will melt to 2 inches of water. To how many inches of water will 5.5 ft of snow​ melt?

Answer: x = 26 inches

2/0.5 = x/6.5

x = 6.5*2/0.5

x = 26 inches
