X= -3
Y=0

Solve for x in your first equation.
This ends up being:
X=-3y-3

Take this new equation and plug it in for x into your original 2nd equation.

It’ll look like
4(-3y-3)-3y=-12
-12y-12-3y=-12
-15y-12=-12
-15y=0
Y=0

Take your new y value and input it into the original equation -either one will work, but I chose the second one.

4x-3(0)=-12
4x=-12
X=-3
