Let's use common denominator. In this case, our common denominator would be 40.

3/5 = 24/40.

6/8 = 30/40

6/10 = 24/40.

So 3/5 and 6/10 are the same.

_3_•2=6
5 •2=10
3/5 is equivalent to 6/10 because if you divide 6/10 by two it’s 3/5 and if you multiply 3/5 by two it’s 6/10
