Use quadratic formula


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail x=(4\pm√(16-12))/(2)


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail x=(4\pm 2)/(2)


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail x=2\pm 1


\\ \rm\rightarrowtail x=3,1
