You organize a garage sale. You have $30 at the beginning of the sale. You earn an average of $20 per hour. Write an equation(slope-intercept) that represents the amount of money y you have after x hours

How much money will you have earned after 2 hours?

Answer:

y=20x+30

you will earn 40 dollars after 2 hours

Explanation:

As you said y=money you make every hour. so y=20 then x is for every one hour. so now you have your slope equation y=20x. But then you need b (original start of money) technically your y intercept, +30. so y=20x+30. Sorry if the explination is a bit off.
