Check:
(-11/6) + 29/18 does gives - 2/9
Make (-11/6) have same denominator as 18 by Multiplying top & bottom by 3.
-33/18 + 29/18 = - 4/18, then divide by 2 => - 2/9
There's different ways of solving for m, but the key is: whatever you do to one side, you must do to the other side too.
