Volume of given pyramid is 720 cubic centimeter

Solution:

From given figure in question,

A pyramid with a right triangular base

Base length = 9 cm

Height = 15 cm

The height of the pyramid is 32 cm long

The volume of a triangular pyramid is given as:

V = (1)/(3) * A * h

A = area of the triangle base, and H = height of the pyramid

Find the area of the base:

Area\ of\ triangular\ base = (1)/(2) * base * height\\\\Area\ of\ triangular\ base = (1)/(2) * 9 * 15\\\\Area\ of\ triangular\ base = 67.5\ cm^2

Now the volume is given as:

V = (1)/(3) * 67.5 * 32\\\\V = 720

Thus volume of given pyramid is 720 cubic centimeter
