When we look at both equations, m=-3 because -3 lines up with m.
To find the slope of this particular number, you would need to put a 1 under -3 to make it a fraction. (-3/1)
Since the fraction three over one is negative, this will be a negative slope.
Starting at y=7 , or the point (0,7) (y intercept will be interpreted as “b” in this equation) you would need to go DOWN 3 units (boxes) , and RIGHT 1.
