Nonliving, because it feeds of other cells to reproduce.

Answer:

The answer is a bit complicated but no they are not.

Step-by-step explanation:

Viruses are not made out of cells but they can evolve themselves and they carry genetic material and can even reproduce (different from human reproduction).

As stated by Khan Academy " Even though they definitely replicate and adapt to their environment, viruses are more like androids than real living organisms."
