View the pencil drawing and contemplate Kurtz's words just before he dies. Are his words, "The horror! The horror!" appropriate as a caption for this painting? Why or why not? Explain your reasoning in one to two well-developed paragraphs. Consider what the painting reveals about Kurtz's insight into his situation and what he means, possibly in his last few moments of clarity and lucidity before he dies, with the words, "The horror! The horror!"

Answer: those words are the best words to caption the painting.

Explanation: Kurtz might have discovered something others simply failed to discover. His last words would serve as a clue to knowing what he saw when he looked into the picture. Changing the caption simply drives away the value of the exact thing Kurtz saw
