Macaroni and Cheese

by Sarah Johnson

Everyone who has had macaroni and cheese knows that it is a simple dish. Although it is simple, it is a great comfort food. It became a popular dish in the U.S. because of Thomas Jefferson. He was the third president of the United States. He served this dish at a dinner when he lived in the White House in 1802. Macaroni and cheese gained more popularity when Kraft Foods created the blue box macaroni and cheese in 1937. Boxes of this dish flew off the grocery shelves.
There are many different versions of macaroni and cheese. People can add anything to the dish. Different cheeses, meats, and flavors could be added to the dish. Some people like to make it either gooey or solid. However, plain macaroni and cheese may be the most well-liked recipe of all.

Answer:

I believe it's A.

Step-by-step explanation:

quotation marks are used to quote people, of course. You add the person's name at the end of it so the reader knows where you got the quote. (I would also say that if you don't put them, people would think you're plagiarizing plagiarizing, but I'm not too clear on that) If you are quoting a line from a book, instead of putting the person's name you put the page of the book.

ex:

"quote" (page #)

I apologise if I am wrong!
