y = 0.75x + 4.....with x being # of miles and y being total cost

if a person only had $ 20....so sub in 20 for y and solve for x

20 = 0.75x + 4

20 - 4 = 0.75x

16 = 0.75x

16 / 0.75 = x

x = 21.33 (or 21 1/3) miles <=====
