Answer:

The number of headband sold by Winnie is 14.5

Explanation:

Given as :

Total cost price spend as expenses on headband = c.p = $22.50

The selling price for each headband = s.p = $5

The profit earn by Winnie = p = $50

Let The number of headband sold by Winnie = h

According to question

Profit amount = selling price - cost price

Or, p = s.p - c.p

Or, $50 = $5 × number of headband sold - $22.50

Or, $50 + $22.50 = $5 × h

Or, $72.50 = $5 × h

∴ h =
(72.50)/(5)

i.e h = 14.5

So, The number of headband sold by Winnie = h = 14.5

Hence, The number of headband sold by Winnie is 14.5 Answer
