Find the interest on $4,500 at 5.2% for 2 and a half years. Which of the following equations would be used to solve this problem?

I = (4500)(0.052)(2.5)
I = (4500)(0.52)(2.5)
4500 = P(0.052)(2.5)
I = (4500)(5.2)(2.5)

Answer:

I = (4500)(0.52)(2.5)

Explanation:

I used Substitution and I got the 2nd one. I calculated the Original problem and I got 5,850 and I substituted each problem and the 2nd one matched the origin problem.
