Four ways with which English spread after WWI were industrial revolution, economic superiority of American, technology of America and other factors like advertising, broadcasting.

English is one of the most important international language that spread to many countries of the world after the end of the WWI. The reasons were advent of technology, like with the development of telegraph it was done in the English language.

Then the advertising and the broadcasting of the major brands was also in English language. Th economic and the political superiority of America led to development of international organisations and the language used for interaction was English.
