There are two types of network according to the physical layout such as wired and wireless network. Wired networks are type of network that uses wires and cables to connect to computers and other networking devices. Such wires are:

- Fiber Optic Cable - more advanced cable than TPC cables. Ut is made up of cores, jacket, cladding for beams as it uses light when transferring data. It supports up to 100Gbps data speed.
