So in ELA, I am trying to answer a question for extra credit. It is:

Refer to the underlined part of this extract. Identify and explain the figurative language technique being used.
The underline part read:
Everyone has won, and all must have prizes."
I first thought it was a paradox, because of the dodo bird verdict (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodo_bird_verdict#:~:text=The%20Dodo%20bird%20verdict%20(or,character%20in%20Alice%20in%20Wonderland for more information), but that doesn't look right to me. A paradox would be, like, "the beginning of the end", a phrase that almost contradicts itself. Please tell me if y'all can find an answer for this.
