The perimeter of a rectangular pool 160 meters. The length of the pool is 20 meters more than it's width. Which equaction can be used ? a x+x+80=160 b 2x+(40+x)=160 c 2(x+x)+40=160 d 2(x+40+x)=160

It would be c) 2(x+x)+40=160

If x is the width, then x + 20 is the length.

The perimeter will be:

2(x + x + 20) = 160

If you just multiply out the 20, you get

2(x + x) + 40 = 160
