The internal angle of any polygon is calculated using this formula

i, (2n - 4 )right angled or ( 2n - 4 ) x 90°

ii ( n - 2 )complementary angle or ( n - 2 ) x 180°

The external angle of any polygon equals 360°

The diagram above indicates the exterior or external angle of a polygon.

To get the value of x, we add all the values and equate to 360°

2x + x + 10 + 2x + x + 10 + x + 16 + x + 4 = 360

8x + 40 = 360

8x = 360 - 40

8x = 320

Therefore x = 40°
