Differences between biosphere, ecosystem, community, & population:

  • Biosphere is an ecological system which blends everything on our planet Earth- the living beings, the atmosphere, and its elements.
  • Ecosystem is a biological group of various living organisms. It is composed of plants, animals, and other tiny living creatures.
  • Community is simply a group of people who resides in the same place and who shares common interest and other similar characteristics. The three main types of communities are- Urban, Suburban, and Rural.
  • Population is a total number of people living in an area, region, or country. The total count of people is what population is.
