Answer:
Question 3
Chromosomes align at the centre of the cell (as in the image),
the spindle fibres attach to each sister chromatid
Question 4
Telophase
Step-by-step explanation:
Question 3
During mitosis, the cells undergo prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase. Metaphase begins at the end of prophase, after the breakdown of the nuclear membrane and the condensation of the chromosomes. Prophase also begins the formation of the spindles (chromosome condensation and spindles formation has already happened before mataphase)
During metaphase, the chromosomes condense and spindles form. The chromosomes do not unwind inside the nuclear envelope (the opposite has already happened!).
Chromosomes do align at the centre of the cell (as in the image), and the spindle fibres attach to each sister chromatid (as in the picture). This is in preparation of the chromatids being separated before the formation of two daughter cells
Question 4
The mitotic spindle disassembles at the end of mitosis, when the chromosomes are distributed at the opposite ends of the cell, and the cell is elongated and ready to divide. This stage is called telophase, and it occurs just before the division of the cytoplasm to create the two daughter cells
