I solved the equation and it was same slope and y intercept. Like Carlosego said, it is infinitely many solutions; however the question is WHERE DOES IT INTERSECT. Since both equations are the same EXACT line, the dont intercept so it is none of the above. BTW I got this right in prepworks so yeah THIS IS RIGHT : )

For this case we must find the solution of the following system of equations:


3x + 4y = 7\\6x + 8y = 14

If we multiply the first equation by -2 we have the following equivalent system:


-6x-8y = -14\\6x + 8y = 14

If we add the equations we have:


-6x + 6x-8y + 8y = -14 + 14\\0 = 0

Thus, the system has infinite solutions.
