The answer is n= -6
Explanation:
first you should combine like terms
then subtract from the other side of the equation
once your left with -6n you must divide the variable (n) by the coefficient (-6) in order to get n alone. The reason you divide by -6 is because you can't have a negative variable in a typical equation.
afterwards you are left with -6, because any number divided by a negative number becomes negative.
