y = 3cos(x)

Since we observe no vertical or horizontal shifts, we can say that:

y = acos(bx)

Since the range of the function is multiplied by 3:

= > a = 3

y = 3 \cos(bx)

Since we observe a period of 2π for the function to repeat itself:

t = (2\pi)/(b)

2\pi = (2\pi)/(b)

b = (2\pi)/(2\pi) = 1

y = 3cos(x)
