We have to find the probability of selecting an odd numbered card(3,5,7,9) or spade or both.For this we have to find the number of favourable cases.

Favorable cases = 13 (all the spades) + 12(4 odd numbered cards from each of the remaining 3 )

(number of favourable cases)/(total number of cases)

=

Hence the probability =
