No. Yes you were right on the second step. You will have to multiply 8 times 2x+14. You don’t add 8+2x. It will be 16x+112. You were partially correct tho :)

Solution:-

Here is the correct way of solving the equation:


\sf{8(2x+14)} -Here multiply 8 with the whole term that is (2x+14).


\sf{8(2x) + 8(14)} - On multiplying 8 and 2x it will became 16x.


\sf{16x + 112}
