Distance = 50 Km

Displacement = 40 Km

Time = 0.5 hours

We know, speed =
\sf (distance)/(time)

Therefore, the speed of the car

\sf = (50)/(0.5) = 100

We know, velocity =
\sf (displacement)/(time)

Therefore, the velocity of the car

\sf = (40)/(0.5) = 80

Answer:

Answer:The speed of the car is 100 Km/h. The velocity of the car is 80 Km/h to the east.

Hope you could get an idea from here.
