Explanation:

assuming that the two angles with this dot * are equal...we can look for their sizes... by using SOHCAHTOA

SO I use tan

tan∅= opposite/adjacent

tan∅= 30/40 = 0.75.......then find the inverse you get 36.87......angles in a triangle adds up to 180.... * =26.57

use SOHCAHTOA again to get ungiven sides

then add ABC to get 108.54 cm as your answer.
