Answer: the slope = -2

Step-by-step explanation: Look at how x and y are changing from point to point. Judging by the graph, x is going over in a positive direction by 3 and y is going down by a negative 6. The slope is written as the change in y/the change in x, so if we insert the changes it is written as: -6/3. If we simplify this, it becomes: -2

Slope = change in y over change in x

A. Slope = (9- -3)/(5-2) = 12/3 = 4

Slope = 4

B. (-13 -11)/(8- -4) = -24/12 = -2

Slope = -2
