1) Government in the United States consists of three separate levels:
- the federal government,
- the state governments, and
- local governments.
The three branch's of government is how the government makes, enforces, and interprets laws. So it would reflect local, state, and federal levels by "breaking a certain law and you would get punished by a local court, (district) state court, and federal court. Depending on what kind of law you break."
2) There are various ways state constitutions different from the federal Constitution. Often, state constitutions are much longer and more detailed than the federal Constitution. State constitutions focus more on limiting rather than granting power since its general authority has already been established.
