Answer:

f(x) = x² -5x factor this function

x(x-5) = 0 ----> either x =0 , or x -5 =0 then x =5

the two values of x make f(x) =0 are 0 and 5

we can check by substituting these two values

at x = 0 ----> f(0) = 0² - 5 * 0 ---> f(x) =0

at x =5 ----> f(5)= 5² -5 * 5 ---> f(x) =0
