So first we want to plug in The equation for b
10a+4(7a+14)=18
(we use the distributive since we have 4 times of b)
when we solve it, we get a is -1
plug in -1 for a
7(-1)+14=7
b=7
plug it back in
10(-1)+4(7)=18
18=18
Hope this helps! :)
