Therefore we can use Pythagoras theorem as we know side

d^2=6^2+6^2

d=√72

d=6√2

d=8.485 inches

Method 2:

Using formula

d=s√2

d=6√2

d=8.485 inches

You can find length of diagonal of any square if you know the length of side using formula.

d=s√2
