Answer:

y=(1)/(3) x-1.

Explanation:

if A(9;2), B(-3;-2) then it is possible to make up the required equation according to the form:

1. \ (x-X_B)/(X_A-X_B) =(y-Y_B)/(Y_A-Y_B)

2. after the substitutuion X(A)=9; X(B)=-3; Y(A)=2 and Y(B)=-2 into the form:

(x+3)/(9+3) =(y+2)/(2+2); \ => (x+3)/(12) =(y+2)/(4); \ => (x+3)/(3) =y+2.

or in slope-interception form:

y=(1)/(3) x-1.
