Answer: Length = 25, width = 7

Explanation:

Let width be w, and length be 3w + 4.

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2l + 2w

64 = 2(3w + 4) + 2w

64 = 6w + 8 + 2w

64 = 8w + 8 [subtract 8 from both side]

56 = 8w [Divide 8 from both side]

w = 7

Plug w in l, where l = 3w + 4 = 21 + 4 = 25
