Hi there !

2( 6 + 4) - 3(5)

add up the numbers in brackets

2 ( 10 ) - 3(5)

Multiply 2 by 10 and 3 by 5

20 - 15

Subtract !

5

2 ( 6 + 4 ) - 3(5) = 5

Remember to follow PEMDAS:

2(6+4) - 3(5)

Add in the first parenthesis:

2(10)-3(5)

Multiply to remove parenthesis:

20 - 15

Subtract:

5

I hope this helps! :)
