\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y=x^2-10x+16

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y=x^2-10x+16+9-9

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y=x^2-10x+25-9

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail y=(x-5)^2-9

Vertex form

  • y=a(x-h)^2+k

So

vertex:-

  • (h,k)=(5,-9)
