This is a philosophy question.

Why do we say that something is a fact if it is possible it could be wrong?
For example, falling trees still make sounds when you're not around. But there is no way to prove that statement true, if you listen to it fall your around.

Another example would be the following:
The sun still exists when it's below your horizon.
We may be able to observe "its" affects but what if it was replaced by a different star like the sun when it's below the horizon? There is truly no way to know for certain, philosophical razors such as Ockham's Razor are even based on probobility.
WHY DO WE SAY THAT SOMETHING IS A FACT???
