Explanation:

width = x

length = x+ 3

perimeter = 2(l+b)

36= 2× (x + x+3)

36÷2 = 2x + 3

18 = 2x + 3

18 - 3 = 2x

15=2x

x =15÷2 =7.5

x=7.5

x + 3 = 10.5
