Explanation:

Then to find our y-intercept(b), we need to know what y is at x=0. We can easily find this by picking one of the points we already have, I'll just do (4,3), and multiply our slope by the x number of the point.

-1/2 * 4 = -2. But we need it to be 3 to match up with our point. 3- -2 = 5, which is our y-intercept.
