Answer:

Explanation:

  • b = cost of 1 burger
  • f = cost of fries
  • $1 = the cost of fries

2(b+f) = 10

2b + 2f = 10

2b + 2(1) = 10

2b + 2 = 10

- 2 - 2

2b = 8

/2 /2

b = $4 <== the cost of each burger

Check your answer:

2(b+f) = 10

2(4+1) = 10

8 + 2 = 10

10 = 10

This statement is correct

Hope this helps!
