A complementary angle is 90 degrees. The ratio is 2:3 so the equation would be:

2x+3x=90

5x=90

x=18

One of the angles would be 2(18) or 36 degrees and the other angle would be 3(18) or 54 degrees.

36+54 is equal to 90 degrees so it checks out.
