Given the actual park is 160 feet wide ( need this measurement in inches).

so the actual part is 160 · 12 = 1920 inches wide.

Using the ratio long/ wide = long/ wide 2/1 = ?/1920. The part is 3840 inches long.

Answer need to be in yards: divide by 36 because 36 inches = 1 yard.

Long = 3840/36 = 320/3 yards

wide = 1920/36 = 160/3 yards

Actual area = L · W

= (320/3)·(160/3)

= 51200/9

= 5688.89 square yards
