x = 11 ; y =13

Explanation:

3x - 2 y = 7 -------------(I)

y = x + 2 -----------(II)

Substitute y = x + 2 in equation (I)

3x - 2(x + 2) = 7

3x - 2*x + 2*(-2) = 7

3x - 2x - 4 = 7

x - 4 = 7

x = 7 + 4

x = 11

Plugin x = 11 in equation(II)

y = 11 + 2

y = 13
