We must find Angle B.

Thise angles will be 1 and 2 since they are opposite of the congruent sides.

This means

Angle 1 and 2 measure 8x-20

All traiangles add up to 180 so we have


(8x - 20) + (8x - 20) + y = 180


16x - 40 + y = 180


y = 220 - 16x

So the measure of Angle B is 220-16x.
