You wish to make a 0.358 M hydroiodic acid solution from a stock solution of 3.00 M hydroiodic acid. How much concentrated acid must you add to obtain a total volume of 50.0 mL of the dilute solution?

You need to add roughly 420 ml of the acid

Working:

Formulas:

So if

0.358 M=c*50.0ml

C= 0.358/50

This is the concentration of ur final solution

Now take the concentration and 3.00M and find volume.
This is bc u have the mol of that and concentration so how much is in it

So
3.00M= (0.358/50) * v

Solve for v
